Our Covid -19 Policy
At South Shore Sleep Diagnostics and Plymouth Ears Nose and Throat, as part and parcel of our continuing commitment to dispense state of the art Otolaryngology care and sleep medicine services, we feel obligated to provide the safest possible environment for our patients.This of course takes on new meaning in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only are we highly focused on rigid sterilization procedures for our equipment and providing our staff with adequate personal protection equipment, but we are also aware and actively addressing the issue of airborne component transmission.
Patients are screened with questionnaires prior to their arrival by our highly trained bank of phone receptionists and again upon arrival at the office by our outside screening personnel. The temperature of each patient is taken upon entering our offices.
All surfaces in the office are disinfected with UV light and topically applied alcohol based solutions.
In addition, all staff and patients in the office are wearing appropriate face coverings or respirators. We also employ an upper-room germicidal UV (GUV) system for more effective ambient air disinfection of the entire working area providing our patients and staff the safest environment possible.
